I Recommend to You…

…my favorite purchase for cooking in 2011!

These onion goggles deliver on their promise. Tear free when chopping, dicing, slicing or mincing onions! I can’t tell you how many onions I’ve chopped this year but I can say I’ve done it tear free. I bought these beauties at Lepp Farm Market in Abbotsford. I bought the pink goggles for me and the Sounders green goggles for our son Josh. The only problem I can see with them is if you are very far-sighted, these won’t fit over your glasses but if you wear contacts they’ll work.

Here’s Josh sporting his onion goggles! Thanks for sending the photo Josh!

  1. Who knew? I’d never heard of these but I know where I’ll be stopping at the end of January when I’ve on that side of the strait. Thanks for the review!

  2. Well Dang about glasses not do-able.

Back to chopping on the range top, exhaust on high, mouth clamped shut and breathing over shoulder when needed. One article said if you sliced bottom up or top down it made a difference, but never can remember which!

  3. Oh, lovely. I agree with Willow—we need photographic evidence that they work well. You were so right to choose pink.

Actually, I think I had a pair something like that when I was a junior in high school, only they were brown.

  4. Well now I believe you when you say that they’ll work, but I find that my glasses pretty much do the trick, though they don’t fit close around my eyes like goggles. Nice color!

  5. Stylin’ in the kitchen! Picture requested:) i should stop by Lepp’s….i often have mascara eyes after working with onions. It would be good for a laugh too.

  6. Cool goggles. I like the style.
One thing I have noticed is that when I wear contacts, I don’t tear up when chopping onions, but now that I mostly wear glasses, I have more tears.

I read all comments and appreciate them.
