…for an outdoor wedding.

Joe and Mica decided on a casual ceremony with some Mexican traditions from Mica’s heritage. Our daughter Katie was in the wedding.

The bride and groom decided to include the Lasso Ceremony during the ceremony. Lasso (sometimes called, “lazo”) or rope is placed around the bride and groom’s
shoulders (groom’s shoulder’s first) in the form of an “8” (the infinity symbol) – after they have exchanged their vows – to symbolize their everlasting union.

We enjoyed a delicious barbecue of pulled pork sandwiches after the ceremony with homemade Pico de Gallo that the bride and her mother made. I was too busy eating to take pictures of the food. I did manage to take a photo of the cupcakes in lieu of a wedding cake…

Thanks for stopping by…
What a happy looking wedding! The bridesmaids dresses are so adorable…and they can actually ! The bride looked so sweet in that dress with all the embroidery work and I love her hair! It’s so fun to go to weddings that are so authentic…by that I mean that they are a real representation of the bride and groom!
What a lovely and happy wedding 🙂 Everyone looks so very joyful!
How lovely! I always enjoy the uniqueness of each wedding. Meaningful to the bride and groom and touching to those who participate as guests. Looks like the sun shone and everyone looked so very happy!
I’ll bet that was a wedding that every single person enjoyed. Katie looks beautiful!
I learned some new things about Mexican traditions. Beautiful setting, beautiful day.

Beautiful…and very unique. Katie looked adorable!
They are sooooo lucky to have had such beautiful weather and I luuuuuuuv the infinity lasso! So glad to see people incorporating more of their heritage into their weddings!
I love the simplicity of this wedding and all the love so evident between the bride and groom. What a great idea for cupcakes instead of wedding cake. And such gorgeous colors everywhere. What a special day.
Beautiful pictures, thank you for sharing! It was all perfect. It was nice meeting you and your family. Katie is just precious! Saludos from Texas 🙂
