The view from my computer window has changed…
Does anyone know what this plant is called?
Happy last Saturday of winter to all of you! We are headed to Snohomish, Washington for breakfast and a little antique shopping.
Photobucket replaced all my photos with ugly black and grey boxes and they are holding my photos hostage until I pay them lots of money. I’m slowly going through all my posts and trying to clean them up and replacing some photos. Such a bother.
How fun…I don’t think I’ve even ever seen one like let alone forgotten the name. Hope someone knows….although it may be a bush we can’t have here in the Midwest. Happy weekend!
Don’t know what they are, but they’re beautiful. Like ginormous snowdrops!
Have a great weekend, Ellen.
Hi Ellen – I have several of these and I believe they are called Pieris Japonica. Sometimes the blossoms are white and sometimes pink – a lovely shot of colour at this time of year.
Absolutely gorgeous, Ellen ! Yes.. the plant is called Pieris Japonica http://www.hort.net/gallery/view/eri/pieja40 or Lily of the Valley Shrub…
and thanks for the reminder to get my hummingbird feeder out… I don’t want to miss the first hummingbirds to return to our area.
Oh good, I am not the only one who needs to know plant’s actual names.
Your view is so lovely!
Lovely window view!
At first I thought it was snow on those plants.
Wow, that really is a difference from your winter photo of the bird feeder~
The plant is gorgeous! It looks like lily of the valleys. Does it smell lovely too?
Absolutely gorgeous!
