The theme for today is Garbage Day. Here’s what I spotted today to share with y’all.
Driving down the hill from my house this lovely scene meets my eye. This lovely bit of abandoned garbage isn’t quite so visible in the spring and summer months when all the new growth covers it from view. In the winter we are afforded a much better view.
It was raining nonstop today so I had to capture this shot from the comfort of my car, through the passenger window with my daughter leaning way back out of view!
Sounds funny to say but I’m looking forward to seeing your garbage.
Photobucket replaced all my photos with ugly black and grey boxes and they are holding my photos hostage until I pay them lots of money. Iām slowly going through all my posts and trying to clean them up and replacing some photos. Such a bother.
Good heavens….if enough vines grew on it it could almost be bizarre art.
Well, your eyesore makes for some very picturesque garbage! That’s a very nice shot, especially considering the conditions.
Now that’s a view of garbage worth looking at:)
You just never know what you may find….someones garbage…just may be someone elses treasure. Ii think I’ll stop by for a look with you.
It does have an artistic feel to it š Nice shot Ellen!
That is a big hunk of garbage! Makes a person wonder why it stays there when the serial number is right on the dash board? I like the color of the moss!! :))
Hi Ellen š
Awww… it looks like it was a nifty truck in it’s day! I think it needs some curtains and a daisy. Everything looks better with some curtains and a daisy. š LOVE this fun interpretation! š

Oh my, Ellen – you really do bring your camera with you wherever you go! š That’s a creative way to illustrate “garbage day”. š
Wonderful garbage….Nice pictures!
