Tonasket is a small community located along the eastern bank of the Okanogan River in north central Okanogan County, Washington. State Highway 97, the main north-south highway through central Washington, bisects the city on its way north to the Canadian border approximately twenty miles north.
Dear and I were on a little road trip to Northeastern Washington back in August when I took a shot of this store. We were here bright and early in the morning so it wasn’t open. I like the look of it.
To see more Ruby Tuesday visit Mary at Work of the Poet.
Photobucket replaced all my photos with ugly black and grey boxes and they are holding my photos hostage until I pay them lots of money. I’m slowly going through all my posts and trying to clean them up and replacing some photos. Such a bother.
I like the look of it as well 🙂
Love the doors. An absolute perfect Ruby Tuesday capture.
The ruby enhances the doors. This seems the opposite of the usual barn red on the structure with a natural finished on the door. I like this modification, and it is classic rural in design…
I love this shot, the red doors are awesome!
My RT
I love it! I would love to see what’s sold inside too. 🙂
I like the look of it too
and I really like the way the light is falling on the sign
Looks like a lovely day for a road trip ~ and a great place for a stop!
look’s unique for me.

these blogs really help share parts of America that are historical and that might not be around forever.
I love that particular red. Makes me want to paint the doors on our house!
Barns/shops can have a wide variety of characteristics that give them that richness of looking authentic…Perfect color…that could become the color of my door, which has not been painted..
A unique shop 🙂
Indeed so unique!

I have a friend that lives in Tonasket. Her husband is pastor to a couple of different churches in the area. Beautiful place, I hope to visit there sometime.
