Time to visit Mary at Work of the Poet to see lots of ruby around the world. This week I’m sharing more photos of my little friend that visits me in the early evening.
Hummer is swift and sure and sometimes stays a while enjoying the sweet nectar we provide in our ruby feeder. Other times Hummer just shows up looks at me in the window and flies away.
Hope your week is off to a good start. We’re having a 4th of July barbecue at our house on Sunday so I’m getting all my ducks in a row. Today I payed all the bills ( now I know what cut of meat I can afford to BBQ…chuckle), weeded the planter, helped Dear paint half the deck, and did laundry. Tomorrow it’s vacuuming and dusting and finishing the deck. I love an event that motivates!!
Photobucket replaced all my photos with ugly black and grey boxes and they are holding my photos hostage until I pay them lots of money. I’m slowly going through all my posts and trying to clean them up and replacing some photos. Such a bother.
You are already getting ready for your BBQ – judging by how organized you are, your event will be a memorable one for sure!
Your little friend is adorable indeed.
O that little one is such a cutie! He really seems to be enjoying time at that wonderful bright red feeder! Great photos!
Wow Ellen, you sure do have your ducks in a row. . thinking far ahead to the 4th ..I suppose I should start to think about the 1st.
Amazing how close you could get to Hummer, Ellen. All the best for a wonderful week and have a great July 4th celebration in your neck of the woods. We’ll have our July 1st and I’m afraid to say, it’s just another day here.
How sweet is that! And such a ham for the camera 😉
Terrific shots! Looks like he’s enjoying the liquid! He’ll (she’ll) be back I hope!
What a cutie! Great captures.
Excellent my friend. They are so cute and fragile looking 🙂
Awwwwwwwwwww, these photos are awesome. I especially like the one in the middle.
My Tuesday Post
Great hummingbird shots. They’re tricky little guys to capture. We need a new feeder – I’m going to see if I can get one like yours.
I’m recovering from my motivating event! Still tired but I had a great burst of energy before I left so I’m enjoying a fairly tidy place.
this looks so pretty.
My Ruby Redness
Sweet birdie…..
I just finished refilling my humming bird feeders! They are at my kitchen window and I HOPE and PRAY that I get some visitors SOON!!
Love your pictures!
Boy…we are neck and neck on that get ready for the 4th tasks, except we painted the deck three weeks ago. Motivation via upcoming event is so helpful!
That bowl would look cute any season with seasonal items in it. Glad it didn’t sell!
