Blue Monday ~ Armed Forces Day with the Sounders…

It’s time to visit Sally at Smiling Sally and show your blue!

At the Sounders game on Saturday the men and women of the Armed Forces were honored! It was a privilege to give them a standing ovation.

The game started at noon so we met up at Voulas Offshore Cafe for some brunch before the game. Guy Fiere had recently made a visit here so it was more crowded then usual.

I decided on the Pinata Benedict and it filled me up for the whole day!

Hope you all have a great week. It’s hard to believe May is almost over.

Happy Victoria Day to all my Canadian friends!

Photobucket replaced all my photos with ugly black and grey boxes and they are holding my photos hostage until I pay them lots of money. I’m slowly going through all my posts and trying to clean them up and replacing some photos. Such a bother.

About Ellen am a wife, mother, baba (grandmother) and a loyal friend. Jesus is my King and my hope is in my future with Him.

  1. These are beautiful photos my friend. There was a parade in Waikiki for Armed Forces Day πŸ™‚ You know I’m coming back to Seattle the middle of June. I want to go to that cafe. Looks marvelous πŸ™‚

  2. That was really neat…thank you for sharing! I probably would have chosen the same as you from the menu πŸ™‚

    Have a great Blue Monday!

  3. Good Morning Ellen,
I wanted to say Happy Memorial Day to you but I think that Vee is confused. ..she must be celebrating early.
I noticed you had smoked pork in your breakfast dish …you need to come here and have some good old farmer sausage. . mennonite style.

  4. Great pic! I almost put a flag on my post too… thinking now I should have with Memorial Day approaching. Tomorrow, for sure. Happy Blue Monday…Karen
