Ruby Tuesday ~ Glass Tulips

We spotted these glass tulips in a shop in La Conner, Washington a few weekends ago. The Tulip Festival is just about to begin in the Skagit Valley. A most amazing sight to see rows and rows of colorful tulips growing in the fields.

Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.

  1. Hi! (They’re blue bonnets – the blue fowers in Texas). I used to live on Whidbey Island — loved it loved it loved it . I literally dream about driving up to Oak Harbor and seeing the sights. (Was there 1974-77). I remember the tulips and Skagit Valley … Snohomish…love the names up there. Enjoy some Washington State for me! Thanks! (And I like your Goldilocks post for church hunting. BUt really like your last few sentences about getting back in there and all. Jenn <

  2. The thought of glass tulips is intriguing. Do they reflect light and glow? Really, they truly sound beautiful!

  3. I love the composition of this shot
    the open door adds dimension
the blue frame adds to the color of the beautiful tulips

    all around beautiful! 🙂
