Time flies when you travel north and south! It’s almost Thursday again and time for some more Tablescaping fun. I’m re-showing two variations on table settings at our bar in our little condo. I haven’t had time to think about new settings yet in this new year in my Southern California location. Susan at Between Naps on the Porch is the hostess for this fun event. Click on over and see the variety of fun, romantic, elegant, practical table settings that have been created.
The chargers are from TJ Maxx clearance. I used my everyday white dinner plates and then added the salad plate that I found at Marshall’s on clearance. I love plates with country scenes on them. The martini glasses, that I use for pretty desserts, too, were from target a couple years ago.
I changed up the tablesetting at the bar with these square grey chargers and square white plates and a small decorative plates that are “White Russian” plates. I love the little cocktail glasses I found with the Russian Cossack dancers on them. The napkin rings were a gift from my DIL and Son Christmas 2008.
Now head on over to Susan’s for more Tablescape inspiration.
Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.
This is beautiful Ellen. I love those square plates!
LOVE the lights, the plates, Love it all!
Hi Ellen, I love your square plates, don’t have any “yet”.. lol.. your lighting is wonderful…. hugs ~lynne~
Ellen, Don’t you just love black and white? Your kitchen bar is all gussied up and very sheek. Black and white transferware is my favorite. I really need to find some of these dishes.
Not one, but two choices this week. Very lovely square plates. I love the picture on the plate.
What are those interesting and pretty lights? They have really gotten my attention!
Yvonne
How fun to see all the different changes. I really love the black and white plates, I think I have some very similiar. I also liked the fun lady plates. Doesn’t it amaze you how one simple plate and change the whole look and feel of a placesetting. Thanks so much for coming by to visit me, and I’m glad I am not the only one to “revisit” a tablescape. *wink Blessings, Barb
The lighting is remarkable! Will have to try soon!
I love both of these tables — black and white are looking so refreshing now that the holiday colors are packed away. Love the Russian look on your square plates.
Each one is simply beautiful! I love the black and white themes in both settings! Wonderful! Dee Dee

You are feeding my need to look at beautiful dishes–thank you, thank you! Oh, I feel better now. The chargers are superb with your dishes. And the salad plates? I adore them.
I love both but am partial to the square plates. Love the lighting. The black and white is so pretty and is so different in both tables. Thank you for sharing.

This is so pretty….love your square plates.
Went to TJ Maxx last night and their shelves were bare compared to how they usually are. Maybe because of inventory or some other reason. I love your setting.
Two beautiful settings! Love the chargers and the black country scene plates. I rarely find things at Marshalls and TJ Max. Wonder if it is just our location or if I don’t go frequently enough. These are wonderful finds! Thanks for sharing. ~ Sarah
Black and white is always a classic color combination, and you’ve set your bar very beautifully. I love both sets of you dishes, but the transferware is my favorite! Thanks for sharing and happy TT to you!
Lovely, of course! And I really like what I’ve seen of the wall colors at your condo via this blog.
