Thank you to Smiling Sally for Blue Monday! Our sweet niece Miss Hope has been visiting from Dallas and I got some shots of her with my parents with lots of blue for Blue Monday. She only sees us a few times a year but she knows she belongs to us and embraces all of us. It is a sweet blessing from our God for all of us and her grandparents!!
This was a really busy family week. On Saturday we had an Open House celebration in Huntington Beach and on Sunday we had a shower for my niece in Orange. I have lots of photos to upload and share during this next week. I’ve been on the L.A. freeways a lot this weekend and am looking forward to a somewhat relaxed week.
Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.
Hi Ellen, your niece is so cute, she has the prettiest blonde hair. The blue flowers are gorgeous and what a nice picture of grandma and grandpa….Christine
Wonderful photos in front of the blue flowers….and your dad is even in a blue shirt. Did you give it too him just for this photo opp? Hope is just as cute as she can be. Are those plumbago flowers? I love the color and the bush is huge. I have plumbago but is a ground cover type.
What a lovely backdrop of blue plumbago for your niece and parents 🙂
What an adorable little girl. Those flowers are the most beautiful blue! what are they? They are just gorgeous.
Iris
What a cute little one she is. Even the blue bow in her hair 🙂 Tons of blue in this. Great photo of your parents. Excellent 🙂
Yes, the plumbago is a perfect background for these sweet photos!
Wow! Those pictures are so pretty! Great background for the family pics. I had never heard of plumbago before, and I thought it was so pretty, I googled it. I think I want some for my yard. 🙂

OH MY GOSH…that plumbago takes my breath away. That is a plant that I sneak in our garden…it has to be brought in during the winter…won’t survive our cold but they sell it to us trying to make us think we live somewhere else… :o) It is so beautiful…amazing blue shots this week. So fun that Miss Hope can come as often as she does….happy days!
Beautiful pictures and lovely people. You can just tell by their smiles.
And the little one is such a cutie!!
blessings,
Barbara Jean

Wow, pretty blue! What is the name of the flowers, I have one post here, http://singaporeplantslover.blogspot.com/2009/08/blue-flowers.html, the blue flowers look same type. I saw them grow on the ground, not vine type. are they the same?
Paula
