These first two shots were taken from a ferry in the Strait of Juan de Fuca between Canada and the U.S.A.
This Pelican shot was taken at the Malibu Lagoon in Southern California.
This shot of the Canadian geese and one orange beak goose that kind of looks like a Greenland white fronted Goose was taken at Bothell Landing in Bothell, Washington.
Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.
Wow, Ellen, these in-flight shots are fantastic!
Love your pelican shot! I just love those birds. Great pics Ellen.
Sea birds are the most graceful, soaring creatures! I envy them their flights.
Oh Ellen…I love you and your camera….that first photo is my favorite. Well done.
Birds are one of my favorite critters! I think the sweet orange beaked guy looks very proud of himself amongst the black beaks.
Have a lovely Saturday. Can you belive it’s already Saturday?

All of the photos are stunning. I can’t pick out a favorite, but I do like the birds in flight. The orange-trimmed goose is a cutie, too. Nice job!
Great shots. I really like the pelican though. You can see each feather on it’s wings! Nice job.
I love the second and the third picture, awesome shots!
