Window Views ~ Camarillo Ranch House

These windows are all from the Camarillo Ranch House. It’s a beautiful old Victorian Home built by the family who Camarillo is named after. It’s fun to take a tour of the home when they decorate it for Christmas. The house and grounds are rented out for weddings and other events.

Lastly I’m leaving you this view out my car windshield today. We in Southern California have just finished a week of May Grey and we’ve moved on to June Gloom!

Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.

  1. Beautiful windows – Ellen. I was working to see if I could use the Camarillo wallcovering pictures you had sent me on a quilt on my current project this past weekend… it looks like I won’t be able to… but I think I will use it for my next quilt (the Sunbonnet Sue quilt).

Great job on that windshield picture… love all the rain drops!

    Have a great evening.

  2. I like the perspective in the shot through the windshield – raindrops and palm trees going into the distance make a nice shot!

  3. Very stately Victorian era windows. I really like the raindrops on the glass,
make me want to curl up near a fire with a good book. Thanks for visiting my blog and first Window View. 🙂

  4. I’d love to tour that house, I really enjoy that sort of thing (and don’t get to do it that often since my husband is, shall we say, much less enthusiastic about it).

The rain shot is a real winner – the row of palms in the background really make the shot.

  5. What a wonderful house!
And great windows with lovely decorations!
Would love to take a tour there!

And that view out of your wind shield is so dreamy. Beautiful!

  6. Those stately old windows are so beautifully decorated!

And your windshield shot could have been taken from my windshield as I drove along the coast roads of Port Phillip Bay, Victoria, Australia this morning.
