She’s Moving Slow…

So after some weeding and walking up and down flights of stairs there’s one thing I know…the muscles I use at the Condo are very different from the muscles I use at the House. I am moving around very slow and downing Ibuprofen to counter the aches! The weather has been wonderful but some clouds are moving in Tuesday. I am pleased to see my lavender is growing out nicely and looks very healthy. It was wonderful to smell the lavender while I was weeding…

Have a great Tuesday everyone now I’m off to take some more Ibuprofen because it has a better cumulutive effect on your aches and pains says the Pharmacist I live with…

Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.

  1. The weeding made a HUGE difference. So pretty, so simple. It’s been raining here so I know I’ll need to weed. Just adding it to my to do list. Hope thea aches ease up soon. Kim

  2. OH it is looking wonderful and so lush .. .I was seeing news about rain your way and wondered if you were getting washed down there .. .
All the best with those aches and pains .. .listen to the doc.

  3. your border looks lovely. mine are just a frightful disgrace… the neighbors have taken to giving me snidely sidelong glances when i am outside with the children. i just know they’re thinking, ‘why isn’t she weeding those borders?’

of course they smile and wave, but i know it’s all a ruse;)

  4. Seeing your after pictures makes me want to go and weed my front yard too… but, I sure don’t look forward to the aches and sore back… hahaha!

    Have a great day!

  5. You got a lot done in your beautiful garden. Take care of yourself and I hope you feel better soon. Weeding can definitely result in very sore muscles.

  6. I can also smell the lavender….they are lovely!

I’m blessed to have a balcony but there is nothing like a garden. Love the lush and green from your pics.

    Happy gardening!

  7. What a difference! I love those little pink flowered plants. I’ve been looking for those for a couple of years now. What are they called?

I was very thankful for the IB on Saturday after I did the gardening!

  8. Nice work!!! You can rest and play now, huh. I planted flowers this past week-end and a little more to go.
    Enjoy your hard work…..

  9. What a great job!

I love lavender – it’s my favorite. Yours looks much healthier than mine did. I think it’s just too hot here for it to do well. I planted some seeds a few weeks ago, and only two of them germinated. Maybe I can nurse them along into plants if I’m careful.

Take it easy and try some epsom salt in a warm bath.
