A Walk About the Yard…

We arrived in Seattle at 10:00 pm last night. Early this morning I took a stroll through the yard to see what was blooming. My Rhodies are looking lovely and the Azaleas have finally bloomed. The ferns are getting lush. I also see a whole lot of weeding that needs to be done! It was great to wake up to birds chirping away. The sun is shining brightly now and I’m trying to decide what adventure to have today. Have a wonderful Saturday everyone!

Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.

  1. Oh Ellen B. won’t you take us all to Bothel? I love visiting there with you! The weeds won’t go away. They’ll still be there tomorrow :).

I’m glad you arrived safely and awoke to birds singing.
    Have a lovely day!

  2. Those ferns are fun! We have our own sweat box here this weekend…high humidity but I got a lot of weeding and planting done this morning. It must be so fun to go home and find your comfort in all you’ve done there.

  3. Ahhh..you made it! Aren’t the ferns amazing this year! My husband tells me it’s because of all the snow we had and the wonderful nutrients it feeds the earth! Your azaleas are beautiful and so vibrant!
Enjoy whatever you find to do!!

  4. It’s lovely to experience spring again through your garden, Ellen. Mine is quickly entering second flush blooms while your Seattle garden is starting to get really lush – gorgeous greens.
