WFW ~ Behold the Lamb of God!

John 1:29-34 (English Standard Version)

Behold, the Lamb of God

29The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! 30This is he of whom I said, ‘After me comes a man who ranks before me, because he was before me.’ 31I myself did not know him, but for this purpose I came baptizing with water, that he might be revealed to Israel.” 32And John bore witness: “I saw the Spirit descend from heaven like a dove, and it remained on him. 33I myself did not know him, but he who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain, this is he who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’ 34And I have seen and have borne witness that this is the Son of God.”

Photobucket is holding all my photos I stored with them from 2007-2015 hostage unless I pay them a lot of money. I’m slowly cleaning up many posts from this time period and deleting their ugly grey and black boxes with a ransom request. Such a time consuming bother.

  1. What a lovely piece of work to be able to photograph.
And how blessed we are to know that one day we shall behold Him, as the King of Glory, the Prince of peace….one was found worthy.

  2. I just love this! I’ve been reading through the book of John as it’s my favorite Gospel. I’ve often wondered, since Jesus and John were cousins did they know each other growing up? Did they have a relationship before Jesus was baptized? Or had they just know about each other. I know Jesus knew about John, but did John know about Jesus?

    Oh Ellen B.,
you always get to my posts as I’m editing…LOL!

Tea at the Rose Cottage…your mother is so lucky and I hope you post lots of pictures!! I have always wanted to go there, but haven’t gotten around to it and yes! We do have a tea date opening :).
