WFW ~ Psalm 121

Psalm 121

I lift up my eyes to the hills-
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip-
he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord watches over you-
the Lord is your shade at
your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
The Lord will keep you from all harm-
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your
coming and going
both now and forevermore.

Aren’t you glad the God of the Universe has time for us??

  1. I am so glad He has time for us. I so love these verses, they are my Memaw’s favorite and they are very dear to my heart.

    Blessings.

  2. I am so thankful God has time for us 🙂 I love Psalm 121. Thanks for sharing with us. I wish you a very blessed and joyous new year. May God continue to bless and guide you in this new year. Take care!

  3. This psalm was an absolutely beautiful way to start what is likely to be a completely insane day. I can’t thank you enough for sharing it — I guess God knew I needed it!

  4. What a great picture to go with this Scripture. Praising the Lord that He has time for me, to watch over me and protect me, never taking His eye off me. Happy WFW!

  5. So many of our WFW’s today are focused on God being our strength and our teacher. We must all be in the same frame of mind now that the holidays are behind us and we settle in to the long winter.

  6. “The Lord will keep you from all harm-
    he will watch over your life;
    the Lord will watch over your
    coming and going
    both now and forevermore.”

  7. Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this! What a beautiful Psalm… so full of promise.

    It was great to see you in my “comments” this morning… it’s so nice to “meet” other Godly women in this way! : )

  8. I’m glad God has all the time in the world!

    And for the Psalm, I printed one out with 24 pt. size font for my 89 year-old mother. She still reads it every now and then despite the onset of Alzheimer. Thanks for the much needed reminder!

  9. Yes, I am so very thankful, Ellen! It makes me think of my study of the life of Moses. We just finished the lesson where Moses pleads with God to go with His people and God agrees. Its after the golden calf incident. Moses was so wise to refuse to move without God’s presence with Him! May I always remember to do the same!
