I think I was more excited about the green grasshopper than the flowers. The color of the flowers is very delicate, too. I took these on a walk in Willow’s neighborhood last week.
To see more flowers from around the world visit our host and hostess Luiz and Denise!
Photobucket is holding my photos hostage from 2007-2015 and replacing them with an ugly black and grey squares demanding money to release them, so frustrating.
those are super photos.

Awesome. I love the colours of your flowers.
That looks like the Plumbago we have around here. It can’t be left outside during the winter, I have to dig it up and bring it in but it is so worth it. There was some comment at the garden showcase that I first saw them at that they were a big thing in California. They look so like pholx but aren’t as winter sturdy as pholx. I had to look closely to see the grasshopper.
How big can a grasshopper be? That one is huge. No wonder you were excited. The flower is very lovely!
Very good captures.
Pretty flowers. Don’t forget to come pay me a visit.
Ellen: That grasshopper is a beautiful addition to your great flower shots, so pretty in blue.
Great mimicry! I had to search for the grasshopper first! Beautiful blue flowers, both of you enjoyed it!
My flowers are here. Have a nice week!
These are beautiful Ellen!
I think I’d be excited about that hopper too. I almost missed him. I had started to scoll on down the collage and he popped out at me.
Really lovely!
That is beautiful flowers! And that grasshopper is looking very comfy:) Nice collage as usual,Ellen!~
Very pretty blue Plumbago, nice combination with the grasshopper
Very pretty flowers and I almost missed the big green grasshopper. He really blends in!
The pictures are beautiful. If I hadn’t read what you wrote I would have missed the grasshopper.
That one is a big one! And he like the flowers.
Hi, Ellen
great time to catch the grasshopper, but I love you flower, mimosa and so delicate, and I like the way she grabs the clothes. here to call the Beautiful Emilia.

Wonderful photo! The grasshopper matches the flower. 😉

My photo of the grass hopper didn’t turn out, as it was too blurry! I’m glad yours did!
I didn’t see the grasshopper until I read your text. The flowers look like phlox to me, but one of your readers thought it was plumbago? Pretty, whatever it is!
Your flowers are beautiful.. colors are amazing!!!
Lovely flowers, the blue colour is lovely. We have the same type of flowers, I think our climate is very similar. Thanks for visiting my pics. 🙂
Always an added bonus to have a ‘visitor’ on your flowers, which by the way are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing.
The grass hopper is very well captured, and the flowers are gorgeous! I wonder if it’s a flox..?
