We saw this Crab at Emma Wood State Beach in Ventura, California. We walk this stretch of beach early on Saturday mornings.

Photobucket is holding all my photos I stored with them from 2007-2015 hostage. They have blacked out all those photos on my blog posts. OH BOTHER! I’m slowly cleaning up my posts.
Amazing creature, amazing photo. Way cool.
Do you mind if I send that photo to my brother in law. When all of our kids were little he HATED the Smurfs—talking about how silly blue creatures were led to discussion about blue foods and he swears there are no blue foods in the world, ie, blueberries are really purple to his eyes. This would be great to send to him. Amazing creatures–I don’t know if I’ve ever eaten a blue crab but we loved all the seafood while in Cali. Mmmmmmm, I want to go back.
I wonder where his Gnome is?
What an interestingly colored crab.
Incredible crab!
Now that is a different blue – great shot!
Love that crab! That’s a great shot.
Now THAT is uglier than your average crab!!! Great for Blue though!!!
What a perfect photo op for project blue. Its an amazing creature.
That’s a great shot. Lucky guy to be wearing turquoise blue. Unlucky though to be washed up on Emma Wood beach for the photo op.
I don’t think I’ve seen a blue crab before…though I think I’ve eaten it 🙂
Very cool!
What a wonderful crab, right there on the beach. Wow.
What a fantastic looking fellow, we have blue swimmer crabs over here, but they don’t look like that, great photo!
What a cool crab!! I have never seen one like it before… thanks for sharing the picture, as usual! You are great!!!
That crab looks like he dipped his feet in blue paint! Cool shot.
That is the neatest thing I’ve ever seen!
