WFW ~ Psalm 91: 9-12

Psalm 91: 9-12 ~ “If you make the Most High your dwelling- even the Lord, who is my refuge- then no harm will befall you, no disastor will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.”

  1. Hi Ellen,
I was just reading Psalm 91 this morning as it is my favorite Psalm and I feel like I need to do a little hiding beneath the shadow of His tree.
About your commented on the Light House at San Peidro…it is beautiful and if you ever decide to take the drive there is also another architectural gem not to be missed. Wayfarer’s Chapel by the Sea. It’s a Glass chapel that overlooks the pacific and was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. I was going to post on it later this week.
Have a wonderful week and thanks for stopping by. I see you have some posts I need to catch up with so I’ll be back later in the day.

  2. You constantly have the most awestrucking photos for WFW! I love how you really have us stop and just reflect on the deeper meaning of the verses you choose.

  3. A coworker had someone break into her house. I was looking through the Psalms for this very verse, but couldn’t find it. Now, thanks to your post I know the reference….and the picture from the cemetary couldn’t be more fitting. I love how God works!

  4. if we could see we’d all be so amazed at the angels around us and the perils we are saved from because God’s caring for His children and instructing angels to watch over us!

great verse and picture to go with it!

  5. My angel Mother told me she was going to ask God if she could be my guardian Angel when she passed. I didn’t realize it at the time but she’d requested Psalm 91 on her funeral bulletin. So it was AFTER she passed, I read HE WILL GIVE HIS ANGELS CHARGE OVER THEE:…… ~ AND I “Knew” that she is indeed now my guardian angel. 🙂 Reading your post was another hug from her. GOD IS SO GOOD… and His word never returns void.
