Photo Hunters ~ Candy

The theme this week is Candy. I decided to make a trip to my favorite candy shop in Southern California, See’s.

 

Look how sweet the See’s saleslady was. When I told her I was taking photos of candy for Photo Hunters she asked if I’d like her to take some out of the case to photograph. What a good sport..

 

I’m just going to post all the photos from the store because I don’t ever get tired of looking at chocolate.

 

 

Photobucket is holding all my photos from 2007-2015 hostage and they have blacked them all out. I’m slowly working at restoring my posts without their help. Such a tiresome bother!

I think I showed a lot of restraint and only came away with 5 pieces.

  2. I think you showed a lot of restraint too. I don’t think I could have gotten out of there without buying a lot of different selections for “gifts” and then would have changed my mind about sending them as gifts and eaten myself. I’m only partly kidding because that all looks scrumptious and I’m a chocaholic.

  4. I had some See’s candy when in California, but unfortunately we don’t have the brand here in Canada. But we do have several excellent brands.

    Now, I have that in my brain and won’t rest until a trip to mall!! We are fortunate to have See’s stores!!

    I love See’s candies too!!!! I always love that chocolates… mmmm…. YUMMY! We don’t have one here or anywhere nearby. But I do get their catalogs, and am always drooling over the pictures of candies in the catalogs! 🙂

    That IS some restraint where you only went away with 5 pieces of candies… 🙂

    Have a wonderful weekend too. I am having a BUSY one, and I am not exactly looking forward to it… 😦

  18. Wonderfully restrained, Ellen. You didn’t buy a pound of truffles to bring home to “Dear”. Which are your favorites?

    Willow, I like California Brittle (dark and milk), Almond squares, anything with caramel and nuts, the dark chocolates with mocha fillings, etc.,etc.,

  23. I have heard people rave about See’s candy, but I don’t think they sell it here, not that I have ever seen. Which is probably just as well since I would be sorely tempted to stop by there frequently!!

    And what a sweet lady to allow her picture taken! That makes me want to shop at that store just for that reason alone!

  35. and they let you take photos! I should have gone to sees! I went to another candy shop and they wouldn’t let me take photos!
