Thursday February 1st
On Thursdays my posts will include verses that stood out in my readings from the Bible during week. One, two, three or maybe more. If you have a verse/verses that you read during the week and would like to share, leave it/them in the comments and I will add it/them to the post. Let’s dig deep in God’s Truth again this year!
The verses that you share are appreciated and so encouraging, I’m thankful for them and for each of you!
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24:
Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.
From Vera:
”Blessed be the Lord! For he has heard the voice of my pleas for mercy. The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.“
Psalm 28:6-7 ESV
From Karen:
Proverbs 1:10
My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.

”Blessed be the Lord! For he has heard the voice of my pleas for mercy. The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.“
Psalm 28:6-7 ESV
Happy Thursday, Ellen! Take care, have a great day!
Proverbs 1:10
My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.
I am participating in a ladies’ Bible study and we are studying the Red Sea miracle. One of the things we have noticed is that God led His people TO the Red Sea. They didn’t just wonder into a bad spot and He needed to deliver them. He led them there!
”So God led the people around by way of the wilderness of the Red Sea.” Exodus 13:18a
