Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus
O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s a light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!
Refrain
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
Over us sin no more hath dominion—
For more than conquerors we are!
Refrain
His Word shall not fail you—He promised;
Believe Him, and all will be well:
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell!
Refrain

One of my favorites…and it works…bless God, it works.
Beautiful words to live by!!!
One of the songs I’ve known since a child and the words come back to me so well.
We sang that very song at church this past Sunday. It struck me for the first time… we are to look “full” in the face of Christ. So often, I get bogged down by the burdens of this world because I haven’t looked “full” in His wonderful face.
So, I just have to ask — can you share more about that stitched piece?
