This sign is on the stairwell at my hairdressers salon/home. It made me smile and I hope you smile, too.
Before the tulips bloom fully here in Washington the daffodils make us smile.

Sometimes a different color tulip gets in the mix and the daffodils try to share the glory with the tulips…

Hope your weekend is off to a good start. If the weather cooperates I’ll be mowing the lawn and Dear will be doing some painting. What are your plans?
What a wonderful wide open vista to enjoy the view! Those are good rules for Texans and everyone else.
Your tulip pictures are stunning! What a beautiful area you live in. Thanks for the smiles!
Wow, you guys are the mecca for FLOWERS…fields and fields of flowers.
Good rules and simple to understand. Those daffies and tulips are amazing. I’ve never seen anything like that. Are these grown for the bulbs (like a tulip/daffodil farm)?
Jody, I believe so. These daffodil and tulip fields are in the same general area in Washington. Several dutch people settled here and the rest is history. We don’t need to travel to Holland to see such pretty sights!
wow …. what smiles indeed!
I heart daffodils!
Yes, that did make me smile, as did all those glorious fields of color you’ve got blooming up there now. I like the renegade flowers too…standing out among their regimented and all-alike fellows.
I read the Ten Commandments out loud to my husband, easy to do since I grew up in the South. Thanks for sharing your smiles this weekend!
Oh.. I love the yellow daffodil that dares to stand alone! May we stand for what we believe no matter what colour the people are around us !
Fun Texas version of the commandments. And your beautiful fields of flowers definitely make me smile. I have so got to visit your state one year in the spring!
