It’s a below freezing day in Western Washington but thousands of people are lining the streets and heading to the Tacoma Dome to honor the 4 slain Lakewood Police Officers.
All the major networks here are following all these events. I’m spending lots of time in front of the TV doing my little part and praying for the families of these Public Servants who have lost their loved ones. May God comfort them and bring them peace…
Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.
Thank you Ellen for sharing . This is such a sad story. OUr son and his family lived in Lakewood until last August, when they moved to TX and so we have followed this story with even more interest than we would have. (A personal connection, no matter how remote, brings home the horror and sadness even more.)
I often think about how little I understand the lives of our police…what they see and hear every day…how any given moment could be deadly…they never know…praying as well.
Thank you for sharing this. My thoughts go to each and every family member of these slain hero’s. May the rest in peace.
Praying for all the families.
Amen!
I drove by the Memorial this week at the Police Department and we do drive by the coffee shop going to and fro….very sobering and sad……
God speed. Eternally grateful.
