It’s been a while since I participated in Tablescape Thursday so I’m happy to join back in this week. Please visit our fabulous hostess Susan at Between Naps on the Porch to see lots of tables set for entertaining.
Today I pulled out some of my Christmas decor which included two Nativity sets I purchased at after Christmas sales last year. I thought about the Wisemen that followed the star and said to King Herod “For we saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him”. My star table is in honor of those Wisemen who were looking for this sign for years and were blessed with the fulfillment of that search by seeing Jesus face to face.
My chair covers are Santa Hats. I purchased them at Target after Christmas clearance about 5 years ago…
I’m looking forward to seeing your tablescapes this week. Thanks for visiting here…
Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.
Beautiful table…I’m thinking one of these days I may actually have enough pulled together to have a tablescape post….
Very festive Ellen!
Welcome back ❤
I love your nativity set!
Lovely table setting! So pretty, it looks like a party.
Susan

That is a beautiful table, Ellen. Your tureen in the center is perfect for the tablesetting.
This is awesome! Great use of color/detail! I love the little bells on the backs of the chairs!
Blessings,
Lana
This is a very beautiful setting, Ellen. I love the colors and it is very festive…..Christine
The bright green looks fabulous with the traditional red. Thank you reminding us the real reason for Christmas. I was in Israel awhile back and went to the Church of the Nativity. I didn’t meet Jesus face to face, but my spirit did! I will never forget it!
I noticed the Santa chair covers- I think they are soooo adorable! Where did you get them?
I am very inspired and touched by your post.
Yvonne
looks fun and festive, love the pot!
Hi Ellen,
I love the truth behind your tablescape. I look forward to the day when I will get to see Jesus face to face. He is a wonderful King…the King of Kings.
Your table is beautiful and your chair covers are really cute!
Blessings,
Teri
I really like the shades of green and red that you’ve put together — homey and festive and welcoming!

So beautiful! I love the traditional Christmas colors of red, green and gold. And those chair covers are sweet! Did you make them?
I didn’t make the chair covers Susanne. I bought them at Target a few years back at the after Christmas clearance…
Oh your tablesetting is just beautiful. I love the pretty dishes and all of the accessories. Your chair covers are stunning too. Such beautiful inspiration. I hope to see you at the “Holiday Cloche Party”. I will have Mr. Linky up tonight. See you then. Hugs, Marty
Your table is simply beautiful. I love it all. What a wonderful sentiment, I really like the stars and the meaning. Your nativity is so pretty. The one I have had since childhood fell apart and this year I am going to get a new one (at the after Christmas sales of course!)
Hi! Your table is lovely… so Christmasy!
It’s very Merry 😉
