It’s time for another Metamorphosis Monday and I have a mini met to show you today. Susan at Between Naps on the Porch is our hostess for this event so head over to her blog to join in or to see some before and afters…
This method of storing my tablecloths was not the most ideal. I’ve been wanting to have a space in my spare room closets to hang them instead.
Hanging them like this makes it a lot easier to access them and see what I have. This project is still in process and I iron a few tablecloths at a time and hang them trying to coordinate colors or seasons…
Again I forgot to take a before shot of this closet space. My candle holders and candles are more organized here.
I was able to box up stuff from this closet space that we never touch to make room for my Christmas dishware and all my chargers. That freed up space in my kitchen cabinets for the everyday stuff.
Now that we have Metamorphosis Monday I think I’ll remember to take before shots for all my projects. Thanks for being patient with me. :0)
Now to see some really amazing morphs head over to Susan’s!
Photobucket is holding all my photos I stored with them from 2007-2015 hostage unless I pay them a lot of money. I’m slowly cleaning up many posts from this time period and deleting their ugly grey and black boxes with a ransom request. Such a time consuming bother.
Great idea!!
Love how you have your tablecloths. You are very organized, my dishes, and napkin rings, etc are scattered through out my house. Thanks for sharing.
Wendy
Oh how funny!!! We did the same thing! Only yours is sooo much bigger than mine! Love it! Isn’t tablescaping fun?? Have a great week…Debbie
I so need a closet like that! Can I borrow yours???
It’s looking like tablescaping requires storage space. I just visited Debbie’s post with the same storage purposes! Is this the condo? You have really made the most of the space you have! Great organization.
Looks great! and a great idea! I need to clean out the coat closet and hang some in there!
Susan
What a great way to organize your tablecloths! I love the way you have everything so neatly shelved, and how lucky you are to have the spare storage space to do this. Kathy
Oh, it is so much fun to organize…makes your heart smile, doesn’t it?
Happy Monday, Candy
I just did that today! Should have posted!
I’ve been thinking about doing the same thing with my table cloths… Maybe they’ll just morph for me… ya think? naahhh…
well, thanks for the inspiration! Glad to see someone is making some progress!
blessings. Dixie
So that’s where you store all your dishes. I was beginning to think you couldn’t park your car in the garage :0!
It’s so fun to see what’s in peoples closets!
I hope you have a relaxing evening Ellen B.

Wow….now I truly feel guilty. I have a lot of those type of closets that really need organizing. Sigh….next weekend!
We’re all getting to be tablescaping addicts and we are all needing more storgae spaces because of it. LOL! Great idea! Now the tablecloths are easily accessible….Christine
I wish I had more space for my linens. I’m going crazy lately for pretty drapes. I will find a temporary closet downstairs and hang them up like your pretty tablecloths.
Great job.
Love Claudie
great idea! I think I may find a closet and do the same, it would free up so much space..thanks for the great ideas!
Now I know what to do with all these tablecloths…great idea!!! French;)
Ellen, Your closet reminds me of Bunny Williams closet…the decorator…she hangs her tablecloths and uses Colonial Candle, also!
🙂 Ummmm, you are giving me some ideas for a closet I have in my kitchen. Love how organized your is! Great job!
Great job organizing, and I love the idea of hanging the tablecloths! I’ll try that one. Thanks for sharing.
My mom hangs her tablecloths also. Definitely keeps them neater and less wrinkled until you want to use them. Mine are folded in a trunk. Perhaps after more organizing I can hang them also. But gotta do the organizing first. I like how you have all your candles and candle holders together. That idea I need to remember!
I hang my tablecolths up in a guest room closet too. Great minds think alike! ;o) Happy Met Monday.
I wish I had room to hang my tablecloths like that! It must make it very easy to pick one out and they’re less wrinkled I imagine. It looks really great!
Manuela
I love your entertaining stash!!!!
Nice to get all organized and uncluttered. Great job! I have been working on these sorts of things too.

I live in a small house, Ellen, and completely understand the need to keep things organized! Great job!!

I have a closet I tried to do this with but then life got in the way and so it hasn’t stayed organized. Thanks for showing us your organized closet! Maybe some day mine will be that way again. 🙂
I love to see ways to organize. This is a great one.
Great idea to hang table cloths. I must organize my mess. Thanks for the inspiration. Sally
You are 100% Russian? Wow! Did you see my Russian tour post last Sat? I will post another one this Sat. Someone asked me why we cannot take fur coats out of your country. Do you know why? Thanks for stopping by my blog…Christine
Hi Christine, by birth since both my parents were born in Russia I am Russian. I was born and raised in the good ole U.S.A. so I’m also 100% American :0) So technically although I’m “Russian” Russia is not my country. I’m not familiar with why they don’t allow fur coats out of their country.
