Out in the Sunshine
words by Fanny Crosby
Out in the sunshine of infinite love,
Breathing the fragrance of Eden above;
I am so happy, O Savior divine,
Living or dying, to know I am Thine.
Refrain
Yes, I am Thine, Lord, I am Thine,
Living or dying, I know I am Thine.
Out in the sunshine, though shadows may fall,
Yet will I thank Thee and praise Thee for all;
Never, no, never my heart shall repine,
Living or dying, I know I am Thine.
Refrain
Out in the sunshine sweet music I hear,
Tenderly wafting a song on my ear;
Oh, what a blessèd assurance is mine,
Living or dying, I know I am Thine.
Refrain
Out in the sunshine by faith I can see,
Mansions in glory preparing for me;
O my Redeemer, what rapture is mine,
Living or dying, I know I am Thine.
Refrain

Wow, what a beautiful scene! It look so serene. I love ocean.
Good morning, Ellen….
I haven’t heard of this Fanny Crosby hymn… will have to check out cyberhymnal later.
Have a blessed day.
I am not recognizing this song but it sounds simply beautiful. Thanks for the post.
Good morning Ellen B.,
Another beautiful Hymn I’ve never heard. I think it’s sad that few churches actually sing hymns anymore…don’t you think?
I hope you have a wonderful Sunday and that the Lord sends you a special blessing today.
O my Redeemer, what rapture is mine,
Living or dying, I know I am Thine.
AMEN!
Look at us with our sunshine hymns!
That is such a gorgeously representative photo of the Puget Sound area! And I like the touch of white picket fence in for foreground. The Fanny Crosby hymn is perfect (of course)…Enjoy your Sunday.
What a lovely hymn! I don’t believe I’ve ever sung it.
