Blogging Too Much?

Last night my sister and I were sitting in the den and I said to her, I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle to keep me alive. That would be no quality of life at all. If that ever happens, just pull the plug.

So she got up, unplugged the computer, and threw out my wine.

A friend of ours emailed this to us and I found it so hilarious I needed to share! Thanks Svet!

  1. Yikes! Don’t take my wine, please!

Yes, my swamp is actually a swamp! We have all the critters one might expect in a protected wetland; everything from beavers to turkey vultures and everything in between. It’s too small to actually be given a name by the county, city, state. I just love it here!

  2. Ellen, that’s funny! 🙂 Hahaha — but, if the plugged is pulled, where would I go to see those wonderful pictures in nature? I am going to have to file an appeal with your sister! 😉

    Have a fun day…

  3. I just want to say that I would never pull the plug nor would I take your wine away! That would have to be one of the other sisters- DEFINITELY not this one!!!!!

    Hilarious!!

  4. Oh boy. .Ellen I think I’ll print that up and put it on my fridge. My family would get quite a kick out of that.

So glad your first recipe went up perfectly on the blog. . I’m so delighted that you’ve joined.

  5. ahhh, but some of us LOVE seeing the other side of the country and peeking into your life. It can seem addictive, to keep up the posts, to follow others–not wanting to miss the fun. Pretty funny sister!

  6. That is the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time! Whatalaugh! Hi Ellen,
I know you’re real busy this week so to add to the fun I’ve tagged you. If you’de like to participate feel free to come over to my blog for more info and if not that’s ok. But it is a fun tag!
    Have a great day!

  7. That is totally hysterical (and possibly too close for comfort)!

It is too hot down here. I am a bit envious that you get to head up north soon, where I am sure it is a bit cooler.

Thanks for visiting me and thinking of me in my low times as well as better times. You are a blessing.

    Happy Friday.

  8. Loved it. I found your site by chance but the cartoon & comment showed it was Meant to be–thanks for the morning laugh (while plugged into my lifesupport computer!)
