Levi in Africa ~ Made to Worship

This is my nephew Levi when he was in Africa last summer. The kids were so drawn to him and Levi gave his all for them while he was there. His work while in Africa was with children orphaned by AIDS.  He is a worship leader with a heart for worship. Next year at Westmont College he will be leading worship for Vespers, a Sunday night all student led weekly worship/prayer service. Praying God’s blessings on Levi’s heart and his obedience to Him.

Made to Worship

Before the day
Before the light
Before the world revolved around the sun
God on high
Stepped down into time
And wrote the story of His love for everyone

He has filled our hearts with wonder
So that we always remember

You and I were made to worship
You and I are called to love
You and I are forgiven and free
When you and I embrace surrender
When you and I choose to believe
Then you and I will see who we were meant to be

All we are
And all we have
Is all a gift from God that we receive
Brought to life
We open up our eyes
To see the majesty and glory of the King

He has filled our hearts with wonder
So that we always remember

Even the rocks cry out
Even the heavens shout
At the sound of His Holy name
So let every voice sing out
Let every knee bow down
He is worthy of all our praise

  1. This was timely. Miss and I went to Nuevo last night to watch Levi lead worship. Oh my gosh! I just sat and cried. These nephews are awesome. Caleb was also singing and playing in the band, and Joe was worshipping in the audience. They have made quite the impact in that community with lots of the kids I taught in the middle school coming out to worship.

Kathy, I was hoping to be there but then Greg and I were both feeling yucky. God bless those boys and the kids in that community!!
