Tablescape Thursday ~ Lighthouses

Welcome to Tablescape Thursday. Susan at Between Naps on the Porch is our hostess for this event. Click on over to her beautiful blog to see more scapes.

Before I left our condo in California for our home in Washington State I had some fun with this table. I had 4 Gracey Knight salad plates called Nantucket Shoreline that I wanted to create a table top around. My shells from my beach walks in the ginger jar made a fun centerpiece to go with these lighthouses.

I bought these 12 shell napkin rings at a local garage sale for $1.00. The light blue glass chargers cost me a 99 cents each at my local Goodwill.

Have a great Thursday everyone!

Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.

  1. Great tablescape and lovely finds! Perfect for Summer and I love it when everybody gets something “different” at their place setting.

  2. Ellen, I love the sereneness of this table with the blue and the wonderful lighthouse plates. I am a big fan of lighthouses so those hold particular appeal to me. The St. Augustine Lighthouse is a large black and white barber pole, and I have been to the top despite my vertigo/fear of heights. I like the fact that you’ve got different plates for each place setting. That makes the table fun yet well coordinated still with each being a lighthouse. I did a sea theme, too.

    Happy Tablescape Thursday…

    XO,

    Sheila 🙂

  3. Hi you Happy Wanderer you (love that blogname) Great table. I love lighthouses and your table is so summery and fresh.
I love that each plate is different – at my house that would make everyone fight over their favorites 😉
    Enjoy your day.
